Mersman 7297 is located on the drawer of a top folding game table (or modest size side table) with harp shaped base and four splayed brass footed legs. I am trying to find value.

I love Merman pieces!! I don't see a picture so it is hard to give you an apples to apples value as you may have one that is pristine (like the one on Ebay) or one that is rough shape (I have a sample from Offer Up).
The value will depend on the condition of YOUR item.
The pristine one was $295 with local pick up so that is the value today in Fountain Hills AZ where this one was sold.
A less than pristine one (rough shape) sold on offer up for $50 in Hudson, FL. So that is the value in that town. See this picture:
If you are in a place with high demand and yours is pristine, you may get the eBay value. If you are in a low demand location and/or the piece needs TLC, the offer up value is more in line.
