I have a Pennsylvania Penne reel lawn mower. I was wondering the value.
I saw one that sold on eBay for $34.99.
I also reviewed the link to the cast iron mower and it has a very good photo. This mower sold for $30.00 in 2013 but these auctions are from all over the US and this was with Macon Brothers Auctioneers out of Walla Walla, WA so I'm not sure this is a good reference price. These mowers (especially if in good condition) can bring more money in different areas but collectors are very particular. The mower shown in this link is marked "VINTAGE CAST IRON PUSH MOWER.

Does anybody have any information on this old mower? Any help would be appreciated!
Usually, it takes a restorer or collector to have any information about these vintage mowers.
I am wondering about the value and collector demand for a Pennsylvania trimmer and edger, model 706. I also have a reel mower, a Great American, model 2418 - with an 18" cut.
Is it this one?
You may have to check listings on eBay for information on similar mowers to get an idea as to what any of these vintage mowers are selling for.
I'm trying to get info on this mower, year, and how much it's worth.
The year might be a bit harder for us to identify. However, the condition of the mower will determine the value of this item. Your mower is rusty and in poor condition and I am not even sure it still runs. You may be able to get around $50 for the mower.
It seems that whatever value this might have, it is eradicated by its rusty condition.
These look to be from the 50s
Here's one that looks to be in better condition and the same that sold at auction for $22
I am just wondering what a 1960s Pennsylvania riding reel mower is worth. It's a model 4224c and I can't find another one.
Perhaps this site can give you more info:

If no one from the site I gave you can help, you can always let the market dictate the value. Start it at $1000 or $1500 and keep reducing the price until it sells.
In my experience, mowers are a hard sale because you have to find just the right person who has the space and time for it. This is an unusual mower though. I have seen 3 wheeler ones, but not a 4 wheelers like this one, which means there is a low supply of them! Hopefully there is a high demand for them and you can fetch a decent amount.
Post back how it goes! This is a neat item!! Thanks for sharing it!
I would like to know the year of manufacture and model name or # of this Pennsylvania lawn mower?
I have a Helix Pennsylvania mower, model number 4018d. How old would it be? Thanks.
Probably only someone who deals in older mowers would be able to tell you the age.
here is a web site that has a lot of information on reel mowers so they may be able to answer your question:
I have a Pennsylvania Penna lawn reel push mower. On the handle base it says PQ1616. What is it worth? It works, but there is no bag catcher.
There seems to be a lot of questions about older reel mowers but very information in answers or on line.
I got interested after seeing so many people wanting to know their value but - wow - almost no sites with true information.
I have continued to check your question hoping someone had found a site or had knowledge about this type of mower.
No such luck...
I did find a site with a photo and some info but it is probably not the same mower as yours.
Wish I could help..
Would anyone know the value of an antique Pennsylvania Super" reel mower with aluminum wheel (greens mower)? I am hoping to sell it.
You will need to do some research to find a value. Search online for possible buyers and collectors and check EBay and Craig's List for prices of similar mowers.
I bought one for 150 $ a couple years ago. fully functioning.
I received this Penn. ball bearing reel edger/mini push mower as a donation. It looks brand spanking new, but I can't find anything about them being in production. I need to price it for a home improvement-themed charity auction.
Any feedback? I also need to know how to use it - for demo purposes and some history would be nice for auctioneer!Go onto EBAY and in the top right corner click on Advanced. You can put in the make and model of your item and it will tell you what people are buying it for... good luck!
