I have a doll that is porcelain, except for the torso and upper thighs, which are stuffed. I think my mom bought it at an antique store, along with a little upholstered chair. These were just for whimsy. The only marking on it is written in black ink on the porcelain upper back. It says "Baby's First Doll", under that it says "Katherine 2/50". It is 17" long and is constructed mainly for sitting position. She's a 'baby' and has beautiful eyes with real upper eye lashes.

I did find a Katherine collection on eBay and she seems to have a lot of different dolls she makes. People are selling these dolls for 15 to 38 dollars.
These are mass-produced dolls and, while pretty, don't have much value.
