I got a porcelain doll from my now ex-boyfriend but I can't figure out exactly what it is or how much it's worth. I think the doll is in the wrong box, the box and authenticity card say Tatiana Collection but the kneck of the doll says Cathay Collection. I have not been able to find any other markings on the doll. I have looked at multiple websites trying to figure this out if anyone can help, that would be amazing.

One of the easiest ways I have found to identify a doll is this website. The site will teach you how to identify your doll.

Normally these types of dolls don't have a high resale value. The normal asking price is between 15 to 50 dollars. The best time to sell a doll like this is around the holidays.
This is a mass-produced doll. 5000 were made. If you can get $50, take it.
Very pretty doll but there are so many similar dolls at such low prices it makes these dolls almost worthless. Many times it is a lot better to find someone that would really like this doll and make it a gift.
I have a link to Cathay dolls listed on eBay and Etsy (these are the largest doll selling sites) but you will only see the asking price and no information on how many months these dolls may have been listed for sale. Search through the listings and you may find your doll and that would give you a name.

Here is a link to some dolls that were recently sold on eBay and the actual price someone paid. (closer to true value)
