You would have to know how old it is and who made it. It will be very hard to determine value otherwise.
This is not an easy question to answer.
First you need to figure out if what you have is rattan or bamboo or cane or rush or any of the other woody reeds used to make pieces like this.

Once you have figured out your material, then you can look at the construction and see if it is older or a newer piece.
For that you need to look at the weave (wicker) and the materials it is woven around (frame) and the contstruction---like are there screws or is it all woven:
Because there is so much woven furniture out there--old and reproduction pieces and just plain new stuff, it is challenge for most lay people to figure out what you have.
My best suggestion is take it to a good resale shop and have them look at it, help you with the age, and give you the value in your town.
There are some pieces that are quite valuable, and some that you can't give away. I am hoping you have a piece that is valuable.
