First off: You probably have the reprint of the 1768 set which was made in 1968 - please check the inside cover for publishing date.
As information: the original 1768 edition only had 3 volumes.
You do not show a picture of your cover and there were several different covers made and each one changes the value.
Condition is most important and good condition may not mean the same to different people.
I suggest you read the questions and answers here before you do any more research. Be sure to read Pghgirl's answers as she offers great advice on how to sell your set.

You can check eBay's sold listings to see if you see any sets that might match yours but there will always be some differences.
These sold listings may give you some idea's about the value of your set as these sets are still selling and some in the hundreds.

Right here on Thrifty Fun they have a page dedicated to the value of t his set of encyclopedias. I think it is a good idea to go here first to check this out. I know a lot of times the set is marked with a date but it was printed at another time. You should also seek the advise of an antique book seller or even an auction house to get the book appraised before attempting to sell them.
This is a valuable book because of its age. I recommend auction/bid sale. You give a starting bid of $100 in hopes to get more of the worth.
