I have a set of medical encyclopedias by Dr. Andrew Wilson dating back maybe to early 1900s. Are they worth anything?

They are over 100 years old, so they are considered antique. I would take them to a book dealer for a free appraisal.
You can try an antique book dealer and I hope I am wrong on this, but last I checked these they had an under $100 value in the resale world if they were pristine.
I hope things have changed and they have regained some resale value. Markets are cyclical and it has been a few years since I looked into it. I can't find any for sale online at the moment--at least none for the period you mention.
If you find they have even less value today, you may want to consider donating them to a medical college or see if an artist group would want them. The medical colleges often have museums of old items and may jump at the chance to acquire these (it could potentially be a tax donation). Also, I know there are many artists who would love them since the images (if 1923 or older) are now most likely in the public domain and they can use them for their collages, and junk/smash/art journals without need for a copyright use approval.
Post back what you learn!
I hope you get good news!!
