I purchased a Thomas Kincaid painting in the late 90s from a small Kincaid exclusive shop in Manistee, MI. It is "Beyond Autumn Gate, Morning at Manor". It is now time for me to sell my painting and I can't find the original paperwork. Any help you could give regarding its value would be greatly appreciated.

Almost all Kincaid paintings were produced in several sizes as well as printed on several type of material so you may have to do some of your own research as you did not supply any of this information.
I found a beautiful large painting by THOMAS KINKADE HIDDEN COTTAGE LIBRARY edition how much it worth it's very large and the frame is beautiful
There are two recently sold on eBay for best offer prices...one was started at $225, one $200. Best offer can be anything from 1 cent to 1 cent under asking price. Figure in the $150 to $190 market value range if yours is the same size as theirs. The frame on the one is similar but I can't make out the details.
These are supply and demand items. If you are in an area where these are hard to come by and people want it, your market value will be higher. If they are common, lower.
Appraisals for me are only recommend if you are insuring it or willing it to someone and want to equally divide assests. If you are just wanting the cash, explore your local classifieds like the Facebook marketplace for your area, Craig's list etc. to get a feel for the value in your area for the item.
I personally would not sell it on eBay as shipping a frame with glass is tricky and expensive. Yes, buyers pay shipping, but if the shipping cost is high, they will want to give less for the item. I just had a package arrive totally mangled and the contents destroyed, so there is the true risk of damage and the hassle of filing a PO claim. Grrr
This one is $15.99 on eBay. m.ebay.com/
I believe this listing is for a wallpaper border.
There will always be a difference of opinion as to value but an appraisal is always a good thing to have and if you place it up for sale you can mention the appraisal figure in your listing.
If you go to www.kinkadecapitola.com and email them your question they will give the going price for your Kinkade painting. This place is a Thomas Kinkade Gallery and they have been wonderful in helping me find the value of my Thomas Kinkade paintings.
