Depending on who made it and the condition, it could be worth less than $100 or in the thousands. There is not enough information to assess the value.

Hi,

I think this looks like a Burroughs adding machine. Here is a link which describes the history of this machine and I saw one going for $250.00 on Ebay. Here is the link:

Is there a metal maker mark on it (on the bottom) or is the name etched into the bottom?

Having the maker will help me value it. It looks pretty rusty. Does it work?

Some of these gadgets have a decent value in the second hand market so I want to be sure to give you the best info possible.
