Value of a Vintage Cedar Chest?

Value of a Vintage Cedar Chest? - vintage chestThis chest was give to me by my family after my grandmother passed. My cousin said it had been in her mom's basement for almost 50 yrs. It has two numbers, style #3023 and serial #450220. I can't seem to find any information. It's not in good shape due to storing it, but the inside is in amazing condition. It has an extra lock in the original package. But it's my grandmother's and I want to pass it on to my son. She was a special lady.

Most cedar chests these days sell for around $125-$175 depending on the condition of the cedar chest. Considering yours is a bit damaged on the outside the value would be in the lower range. I think it is a good idea to keep this in the family and pass it down to your son.
