I have a Corningware P-1 3/4-B dish that was given to me. I looked up the stamp to age it and it is from around 1966. I was just wanting to see about pricing on this and what I could maybe sell it for. It has a little wear and tear on the bottom. I looked online and most of the prices on there seemed unrealistic.

Cornflower blue casserole? Does it have the lid? Sold prices are consistent in the 13.99 range.
There has been a ton of misinformation about Corning being worth thousands. It is false. If it sounds to be too good to be true it is.
These are well loved pieces, but their true market value is as I stated above.
Thanks for asking!
If your bowl is in good condition the value will probably be under $20 plus reasonable shipping but it may not sell quickly as there are always several listed for sale.
www.ebay.com/
here is a link to eBay sold listings which shows what someone is willing to pay for one of these bowls.
(A large price is a false sale and should be ignored.)
They are going for $10 to $40 on Ebay in perfect condition!
You are so correct the prices are unrealistic. Not long ago a website posted that you could make thousands of dollars selling these dishes. That is not true. The most you can make is around 15 to 35 dollars.
I recently attended a yard sale where Corningware was going anywhere from $10 to $65. I was very surprised. You probably can't pay off your student loan with these, but at least they probably fare better in the marketplace (and have more utility) than the ubiquitous dolls
