I am settling an estate for an immaculate older couple. There is a vintage Lazy Boy Signature II (2) sofa 1984 mint, more than "like new" value. The sofa was in the sitting room, rarely used.

It is worth $50 at most. Good luck selling it. With the bedbug epidemic, most people will not consider it.
Normally these types of items are very difficult to sell because people are worried about bed bugs. The best bet is to have an estate sale and list all the items for sale.
You could have an auction sale for the best price, or donate for a tax write off!
These frequently sell where I am in the $50-$75 range when pristine like you describe.
Like with your other pieces, you have the best chance of fetching this amount (you will get a percentage of the sale) when you have it sold through a consignment store or furniture reseller or auction.
If your bedroom set is auction worthy, I suggest having them take all of these pieces for the auction if they will (this, the piano and the bedroom suite).
