A friend gave me this lyre/harp game table. She said that she bought it years ago and that it was expensive, but I can't find any information about it.

To get the authenticity of this lovely piece, should be seen by a professional furniture/antiques dealer. It would be worth it to really know for sure. Mean while on eBay they are asking $200 to $900. Also this site I love , that sells fine pieces - www.chairish.com/
Looks like a nice table but probably not very old and most likely a 'reproduction' of an earlier style (copied after a name brand table).
How did you decide this may be a game table? You do not give the size (or I missed it) so I'm assuming it is the size of regular end/side table.
I do not believe it would be described as a game table for several reasons;
Game tables usually have one or more of the following charismatics;
Drawer/drawers
Sliding or swivel top - opens to reveal a hide away compartment for game pieces
Sliding top that opens to expand the size
It does not appear that your piece has any of these features so I'm inclined to call your table maybe an end table, a side table, a lamp table, hall table, or just an occasional table. Not that this is a big deal but it may help when you are doing research looking for your table.
Still - a nice table but it looks like it has a lot of scratches on the top and the 'foot' piece has seen a lot of wear so all of that would have an effect on the total value.
These tables are heavy and shipping is costly - most sellers try to sell their pieces as 'local pick up only' so there is no shipping involved.
This means that where you are located will also have a big effect on the value - some areas like this style and other areas would pass it by for free.
It is usually best to list in local venues like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo and etc so you can start your price high and lower it if necessary.
Be sure to post good pictures and a true description.
