I'm looking to sell my sofa that I inherited. It seem to be a vintage piece. I have been looking around and it looks similar to Kagan serpentine sofas, but the legs are different. I have no idea what it is worth or anything about it. Help please!

Lucky you to get such a cool piece!!!
While it could be Kagan, they were copied by just about every furniture maker in the 1950s and early 1960s and most pieces are not original but are very lovely "made in the style of..." pieces.
That does not mean yours isn't one or even if it isn't, that it doesn't have value. I have seen SOLD pieces like yours with those wooden legs, selling into the $1000 range...but it has to be in the right setting, in a city where there is money and space to have such a piece, which means finding just the right person.
As a person, that is a tough sell.
My best suggestion is to take it (really good, clear photos--these are a bit dark) to reputable vintage furniture dealers and auction houses and see what it is worth in your town (and if they can authenticate it) as part of their services.
There is a website (I am attaching a link) that will authenticate it (costs a lot from what I can see) and they want invoices and other items to show provenance--which I am guessing you don't have if you inherited it:
www.vladimirkagan.com/
This is a MCM (mid century modern) piece, which is super hot at the moment, but it just starting to wane in popularity, so now is the time to jump on the selling bandwagon if that is your goal.
Post back what you decide and if you sell, how it goes!
Hi thank you for the feedback i live in buenos aires argentina so i believe there's a good market for this pieces was thinking of going ahead and putting it a 1,500 for sell on line and take it down from there see if it sales im also going to go to a antique seller that could maybe tell me how much its worth or if they have any knowledge of the piece maybe they can helo me sell it. as you can see in one of the picture i also have a tri- simmetric coffee table also looks like a kagan model but again have no idea maybe they can help me.
Could be a coincidence i have both pieces that are kagan replicas the table looks just like the one on picture when you look for the symmetrical coffee table. Im going to do another thread maybe you help me price the table.
I will look for photo of table!! I am not that familiar with South American values, but your plan sounds quite reasonable.
I am so excited to learn more!
I would look on eBay. Filter so that you only see what sold and for how much it sold.
This is a nice sofa and it does resember the Kagan brand. I am not sure which one is really yours because I did not find the exact one you have posted here. I also see that some of these are selling for quite a bit of money.
