I have come across this White rotary sewing machine. I do not know anything about it and have been researching a bit and am still am unsure of it's value. I'm aware that it is rusted quite a bit, but I would still like to know any information regarding this machine. The numbers on the back are a bit hard to read, but what is written is 77MG-87018.
Please help me find out the value and more information on this sewing machine.

The value of vintage sewing machines is usually determined by the model and condition mostly but you can check this link from Ismac's that has a lot of information on determining value.

Your machine is what is said to be in the 77 series and there are a lot of models in this series so you cannot just look at some of the serial number and think it is the same machine as each model usually had something different than another machine and that difference could make a model more desirable.
You can contact the White company and they will usually tell you the year a machine was made but that is about all they will offer.

No matter what anyone says about eBay it is usually the first site an appraiser searches when looking for the current value of almost any item.Of course they search other places but eBay is a good place to do research.
You can search eBay for items listed for sale and if you find an exact item (very unlikely) or a very similar item, you can place a watch on that listing to see if it sells.
You can check this link to eBay listings but I did not see a machine like yours but there are similar machines. The big differences will be in condition and whether it is in working order as a machine that has not been tested may be difficult to sell.

You can check sold listings on eBay to see what someone was willing to pay for a similar machine.

Here are some listings for similar machines (in better condition?) that you want to watch to see if they sell.

If you decide to try and sell your machine it may be better to list it locally - Craigslist, etc - so an interested person can see the machine in person.
Here is one like this one at wwwebay.com/
This is an excellent site that will give you a lot of insight on your sewing machine and the history of this machine. On the site it says that this machine is sought after and it is a good machine.
I have a White Rotary sewing machine in a cabinet. The serial number on the side tag is 77-148490. Can you tell me how old it is? Thank you for your time
