I would like to know the year and value of the item. The model number is Y4692.

This is a mid-50s model and had just the record player in it. When the 60s models came out they were a bit larger and had the radio in them. The condition determines the value of this console. Does it still work or not? If it is in good working condition and the console is in great shape and isn't all scratched or banged up people will pay up to $250 for one of these. On average, some people are only willing to pay $25-75 for one of these.
Thank you! I figured it must have been made in the early to mid 50's because I was born in 1959 and I remember it always being around at my house. My parents bought it new.
Early 60's, in good condition you could get up to $300 . Here is some info on Admiral brands and what the asking price of others.
Hi,
This is so retro and something the right person would pay a lot for. I agree with the starting price being $250.00.
Thank you! I posted it for $250. We'll see how it goes!
I believe it is from 1962. Post back what you fetch for it. In most places they sell under $30...I hope you are in a high demand, low supply location and can fetch more!
If you are super handy and can take it apart and test all the piece, you actually could get a lot for the parts!
Thanks for sharing!
Sometimes the older record players without the radio are in more demand so there's a good chance you will be able to sell it for the $250 - that would be nice.
Would you consider naming what site you listed your player?
Did you list it as pick up only?
Just curious - good luck.
I posted it on Facebook Marketplace for now as pick up only.
Thanks - hope it sells quickly.
You can also list it on other sites if this doesn't bring in a sale.
