I have this antique curio with wooden shelves and bowed glass. There is also a skeleton key for opening it.

You can find the makers mark on the bottom, back or inside of the cabinet. You need to know who made it first to assess value and age.
This is a beautiful and very unusual cabinet. The photos are dark, but it appears in good shape. What catches my eye that it is not a run of the mill piece is the legs. They almost look like sleigh runners.
Since this is such an unusual piece, you may not find an exact match of a sold item to give you today's market value.
Also, these big pieces have different values in different parts of the US.
I suggest taking it to several antique dealers and asking them to give you the insurance value of the piece. Retail is always less, so that will give you a good starting place if you are trying to sell it.
Since the piece is large, you will need several pictures that are better lit than this one. Take from all angles and take measurements.
I think this piece could be quite valuable--especially if it is as good as shape as it appears.
Please post back with what you learn. It is quite lovely!!
