I have an antique wood extension table with stowable fold out legs on a square base of which features metal trim. It has two leaves and on the hardware of the legs it says "made in England". On a few of the other rusty metal hardware pieces it looks like it is engraved in cursive "vercsh"? I think it is tiny. I have asked about it before, but am adding additional photos hoping that will help.

Hi! I have been puzzling over this since your original post and I think you need a furniture dealer to look at this. My thought is it could be a custom piece. We had a poster a few months ago who had a similar situation with what appeared to be a franken piece of furniture. What it turned out to be was a custom built piece by a name brand maker, which escapes me now.
Someone with furniture knowledge needs to examine the piece. Please post back when you learn more. I am very curious. I will hunt for other post to clarify details. I had no idea this and of custom work existed. It was an upper class deal.
This is a beautiful piece! I wonder about age because of the leaves that come with it.This will take a professional for answers,Take as many pictures you can, even underneath!
I still say take the pictures to a dealer. I personally am unfamiliar with this.
