I'm trying to sell this 3/4 bed, but I have no idea what it's worth. My parents gave it to me, they purchased it at an auction around 20 yrs ago for $150. I'm downsizing, so I need to sell it, but I don't want to sell it cheap, just to get rid of it.

Where are you located? If you are in Europe, you can probably fetch a decent amount for it at an auction.
If you are in the US it will depend on the supply and demand in your area. I had an ornate 3/4 bed I was trying to sell last spring--with dresser, highboy, and night table and I could not give it away, because no one where I am in Pittsburgh wants this kind of furniture.
3/4 beds are the least popular of all sizes..if the set I had a queen frame, it would have fetched a little more, but not a lot.
I suggest finding a good vintage store in your town an asking them if they will consign or buy it from you and the value.
My gut feeling is if it was worth $150 when purchased 20 years ago, you would be lucky to that today....but I am speaking for where I am.
