I have a doll; her name is Emily. Her design number is 4419/4760. How much is she worth? She is a baby and is in a box with her certificate.

There are almost 5000 dolls in this lot. It makes no difference that there is a certificate. It is worth $25 or less
There is something about the Emily series that I wish I could remember from when I sold these.
Hopefully someone on this site remembers...if not, maybe contact someone at this blog:
I can't find an exact match to your doll (either by look or number) on eBay. Some of the Emily dolls have retained their value and that is the piece I can't remember as to why, as most of the dolls sold back from the 1970s to today (especially the AD dolls) have little to no after market value.
I will keep digging to see if I can find any of my old info.
Meanwhile what I tell people to do when valuing their dolls is to find the EXACT one on eBay's sold section and that will give them today's current market value.
Having just looked, there is no EXACT match to your sweetie today, but tomorrow there may be and you will then have the exact market value.
While I search, I will look for the other doll aficionados on this site to chime in and hopefully they will have better recall about the Emily series (there are definitely a bunch of Emily dolls in AD's line...but what was the difference and which ones are still highly sought after today is what I am drawing a blank on).
The brain is a terrible thing to lose!
Ashley Belle and many other companies made this type of doll by the thousands but most people were unaware of that fact and many bought these dolls thinking that over the years they would increase in value and - sadly - the opposite happened and most of them are valued at under $20-$25.
