I have an old, maybe 1975, model #536.81740 Craftsmen 18 Power reel mower with manual. I am looking to sell this. Can you give me an approximate price and where to sell it? I have included pictures. I need to clean it up and see if it works.

Neat old mower! I love the look of the old mowers!
It is a challege at the moment to give you an exact selling value for your item as there are not any I can find currently sold.
Some tips I can offer to help get you started in valuing the item are:
1. To determine value, match only SOLD auctions online (like eBay) and match EXACT items (model and condition) to help you set value.
The reason to use only exact items is there are many similar items that and the value can differ tremendously because model A was common and model B was scare, but they are from the same year or are very similar.
The primary reason I suggest only using SOLD items, vs. current listings is people can ASK the world for an item, but if someone won't pay, it becomes valueless. Sold gives you an idea what someone will shell out for an item.
If the auction Judy gave you is an exact match, you may want to watch it to see if it sells and for how much.
One caveat...if the seller excepts best offer you won't be able to know the exact selling price as best offer can be 1 cent or 1 cent less than asking.
2. Sometimes with old mowers like this, if you are handy and deconstruct it, you can get WAY more for the parts than the whole.
I see (and do this) frequently. For example...(this isn't your model) but this person fetched $50 for just a working motor www.ebay.com/
If you are selling online--the smaller pieces way is much more effective as you don't have the hassle of packing up the huge, bulky mower and hauling it off the USPS.
I hope this gives you a good start in valuing your neat item!
Vintage mowers are sometimes difficult to sell as a new (almost identical) mower can be purchased for same or less money than a vintage (and has guarantee). Any value for a mower will depend on the looks and running condition.
