It doesn't have the camera; however the stand is really nice. How much is this worth and how may I sell it?

Prices vary from $20 to over $300 www.ebay.com/
This piece can be placed in the 'rare' category but that does not mean it will be easy to sell or that you would be able to actually sell it for what an appraiser would describe.
It could be a nice piece for someone who is into collecting vintage large format camera items. One problem; it is of substantial size.
It would have to be advertised as local pick up only and that limits the sale to someone within driving distance of your area.
Some area's will be into this type of collecting while others will completely ignore the ad as not interested.
This type of item should bring more money at an auction but, then again, only if it is in the right area.
Here is one like yours listed for sale at $1,200 (reduced from $2,200) but we have no way to know how long it has been listed. Check this out as it has a lot of information about this piece. Information you will need if you place it up for sale. Looks like dated in 1930's.
If you are in a large metropolitan area, I would suggest looking for an auction house and maybe take some pictures to see if they think it would have a good market at one of their auctions.
You can try listing on eBay or Etsy as long as you understand how those sites work and you offer 'pick up only' or if someone wants shipping the buyer has to arrange everything themselves.
You can always ask for a free online appraisal to be sure you have all the facts but remember that appraisers cannot judge your area sales and will probably only give you a value for insurance purposes and that will be about 40% higher than suggested resale value.

If you decide to use these sites you will need to post several very clear pictures, measurements, true condition, and what city piece is located.
Ask question on more than one site.
Did you sell your piece? How much did you fetch?
The Rembrandt Portrait Cameras themselves are low sellers (around $160-170 dollars), with the stand they fetch only a little more ($180-200).
It used to be that the ones everyone wanted were the Kodak ones...but even now, the Kodak's WITH the camera and stand sit UNSOLD on eBay. People are asking (AND NOT GETTING) over $1000 to $1400--the value is in the camera with the stand adding very little--so sadly since all you have is the stand, I am afraid it will be like the Kodak stand itself I saw recently that did sell for a whopping $10. These used to be such valuable pieces.
If you know any people who do flea market flips or furniture overalls? Perhaps they would pay more for it since it could be flipped into something neat!!
I am curious to hear how your sale went! Post back with an update!! Thanks for sharing!
