I found this old Toro in my uncle's garage. Is it worth anything or should I throw it out?

You can sell this working or not because there is a lot of lawnmower collectors out there. They have special forums that they meet to talk about, help each other, and trade or buy mowers on. If it were me I'd clean this up some and check it out to see if it still runs. It just looks very dirty from use and some gas should cut through the oil and dirt on the outside of the mower. You may need to get some new spark plugs and flush out the tank to get it working again.
Without serial numbers , engine size info to look into to be more accurate on the worth . This info would also give the age. Here are a few on ebay- www.ebay.com/
First - never never throw out anything like this without checking it out (as you are trying to do).
Vintage Toro mowers are one of the best selling mowers so try and find as much information as possible; if you're wanting the most money.
Of course, you should know if it will run but perhaps it should be cleaned up before trying to start it as most likely the gas will have to be removed or it will clog everything up and you'll have to do major cleaning.
You might want to take it to a mower shop or a tracker store to see what they'll charge to clean it up. It may be too much money and you'll have to try cleaning it yourself but to get it running you may need some parts/filters.
You'll probably find some numbers when the mower is cleaned.
You can post your mower on these sites as is but they will want more pictures I'm sure and pictures after clean up.
These sites will not usually offer any information about value but occasionally they will. If you find out the information on this mower you will be able to look for value.
