I am trying to find out what era and kind of table is this. One nail fell out and it was black with 3 flat sides. That is all I really know.

Im thinking it might have been used for board or card games because of the recessed top. From what I have seen on eBay these are $500 and up.
i wanna sell this table but have no idea where 2 even start any ideas????
Hello. This is a display/parlor table. They usually have glass in the recessed area. The year I am not sure. They were popular from the late 1880 through the 1940s and many companies made them.
Where are you located? I suggest finding a good antique/vintage furniture dealer and have him or her give you a value for where you are.
In the right setting (like at a store or in an auction house--NOT eBay) you may be able to fetch up to $500 depending on the condition, supply, and demand in your area.
Every area is different when it comes to valuing these items. In a big city if these are in high demand, you will get more than in a small town and very little demand.
A dealer can tell you the true condition (You mention some flaws, but besides the glass being missing--I am not seeing other flaws and where the nail that fell out goes. I am not understanding what you are describing by black with 3 flat sides either, but that is just me not following this.
I would NOT try to sell this on eBay or in a Facebook type venue. eBay the shipping would be the issue. Facebook you will never get the value.
Post back what you decide to do. This is a lovely piece. Thanks for sharing!
