I have a old Yard Man push mower. Is it worth anything? I'm thinking of selling it.

The best way to do this is to check eBay often and see what they are actually selling for.
Without knowing the model and approximate year, it is hard for me to give a good value price in today's market. Market values change almost daily in today's economy based on season (for mowers) and supply and demand. When there are a bunch of like items for sale and little demand, the value is low. Only a few and the demand high, the value is high.
eBay has one mower currently in the active auctions with yard man in the name:

If this is your EXACT mower, you may want to set up a watch and see if it sells and for how much to get an idea of what people are paying today.
There are no similar mowers in the sold section.
When valuing your item you need to use exact matches (not similar because there are similar items where one is very valuable and one worthless). Also, use only SOLD auctions to get an idea of what people actually pay (VALUE). I never use asking price because people can ask anything they want, but if someone won't pay that, it becomes essentially valueless.
Remember value and profit are two different things. Value is starting price and profit is what you net after paying all the fees (if you sell on most online sites).
There are a lot of mower forumns on line also...maybe you can see if one of those sites can help you:

Hope this helps get you started!
Hope this gets you started in finding a value.
Today companies are starting to bring back the old push mowers and sell them for a very reasonable price. Online I see many advertised and normally a person is asking $50 to $75 for one.
If you are trying to sell this online you must take into consideration how you will box this up and ship it off to the buyer. You must also account for the price of shipping and how much you'll ask the buyer to pay.
It is best to ell this locally on Craig's list in your area or at a garage sale. This way you can get a few extra dollars for the mower and you won't need to worry about paying the shipping cost or boxing it up to ship off.
