Hearty soup recipe!
Ingredients:
- 8 quarts water
- soup bone
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless beef stew meat
- 2 (regular size) cans chopped tomatoes
- 1 lb. navy beans (washed)
- 1 bunch carrots, cut up
- 1 stalk celery, cut up
- 1 large onion, cut up and diced
- 2 cans whole potatoes, sliced
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Bring to a boil, then cook at low temperature until navy beans are soft about 5-6 hours. Can also be cooked all day in the crock pot.
