Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts This is an easy meal to make. This vegetarian dish is featuring chrysanthemum also known tan o (in Vietnamese). It can be found at your Asian market but you can substitute with any vegetable you like. It can be eaten vegetarian style or you can add your choice of meat.

Yield: 3-4 people
Ingredients:
- 3 - 2 oz packages glass noodles
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1/2 white onion
- 2 lb chrysanthemum
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- dash black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Steps:
- I soaked the glass noodles in warm water for 15 minutes then drain water and dry.
- Prep ingredients. Wash chrysanthemum greens and dry. Then chop garlic cloves and white onion. In a small bowl, stir soy sauce and sugar together.
- Over medium high heat, add olive oil and half of the chopped garlic. Sauté chrysanthemum vegetable for a few minutes and set aside.
- In the same pot, over medium heat add a little more oil and rest of the chopped garlic and white onion.
- Sauté the glass noodles for a few minutes. Then add 1/2 cup of warm water and cover pot for 10 minutes.
- Then open lid and add soy sauce mixture. Stir throughly. Dash of black pepper.
- Toss with sautéed chrysanthemum you placed on the side earlier and ready to serve/eat!
