I have an intermittent wiring issue. Occasionally, a circuit with a light/fan and a few electrical outlet stops working. Turning on the 240V wall heater causes them to work again (I only need to turn it on for a couple seconds). The two circuits are separate, one a 120v and the other 240v. With the 240v circuit tripped there is no current so I don't believe there are crossed wires between the circuits. I think my next step is to replace the two breakers, but I would welcome any thoughts on what might be causing this - it's a weird one.

Very few of us are electrical experts. I would contact a licensed electrician. If you get a fire from faulty wiring insurance will not pay.
I have some personal standby rules:
If there is a problem with plumbing I will try to repair it DIY..
If there is a problem with bugs, carpentry, etc. I will attempt DIY..
I agree with Judy - there are some things that may need professional advice because it is a very dangerous area for most people to try DIY.
But - you may be accustomed to dealing with things like this and know how to work safely so I hope you have solved your own problem. Think safety first - money last.
Three votes for calling in a pro! Even if you are super handy, like it sounds like you are, if you are unsure it is time for the big guns!!
There are three things I never crowd source for info...electrical, plumbing or health issues. I don't want to burn, drown or die from a misprint or misunderstanding or messing with something I shouldn't!
Let us know what the experts say!!
