Photo Description Can't you just hear the water as it rushes over the falls and gently flows over the rock outcrops? I can still feel the serenity just looking at the pictures. A great place to visit and while away an afternoon.
This past August, during the heat and drought of the summer, my husband and I found it so refreshing to escape to the paved 0.4-mile footpath which leads from the parking lot to the base of the falls. Walking is easy to moderate and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Benches are provided along the way. Walking shoes are recommended since the trail can be wet and slippery. The majestic Anna Ruby Falls is located within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in North Georgia.

How fortunate for you and your husband to have this refreshing place to visit.
Many times we get so caught up in daily "life" that we fail to enjoy our wonderful surroundings.
You are correct about being able to "hear" the rushing water; especially if you have ever been around a waterfall of this type. Your nice photographs make these scenes come to life.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, our beautiful state has much to offer in the way of natural parks and all kinds of outdoor activities. We enjoy a wide variation in geographical regions as well, from mountainous to coastal.
