I dyed my hair auburn 5 days ago and it's too red like a wine color. I would like to dye it dark brown to cover it. How long do I have to wait to do it?

If your hair is healthy..not brittle, isn't thinning, etc. you can re-dye in 4 week's. In the meantime try some creative new styles to keep it interesting...like decorative Bobby pin pull backs or a braid.
If your hair is brittle or you have issues with it thinning, you may want to wait 6-8 weeks to recolor and during that time check with your doctor to make sure hair issues aren't from a thyoid or other health issue/vitamin deficiency.
4 weeks before recoloring hair.
If you used permanent dye, I'd wait a month. If semi perm, perhaps 3 weeks. I do semi and I have no issues with 3 weeks.
