Our new house has white walls in all rooms. In the hall room - our L shaped sofa will occupy the corner of the hall and face the wall that has a TV on it. The other corner would contain the glass topped dining table with 6 black chairs. What colour of curtains would you recommend on the window that is somewhere in the middle of the wall that overlooks a school playground? Any other suggestions to bring brightness into the room by decorating space on each side of the TV?
The children's room is roughly 10'x 10' and contains a bunk bed is dark brown and a 5'/6' (a good adult single size bed). Any recommendations for the wall to bring brightness in their bedroom?

I would go with a blue in the room. This could tie in the colors and make the furniture stand out.
As for the children's room you can get some really cute material of different characters. Then build a wood frame and staple the material to the frame to hang on the walls.
Pale yellow or mint green will look nice.
