Many sites do not recommend putting China in a diswasher because it has gold on it. On the other hand it is OK for one washing, but not all the time to put it in the diskwasher. This is what the site said for people who own China and it was a site that told you how to care and wash the China. If you love your China I would suggest spending the time and washing it by hand.
China does best when had washed and air dried!
Your china should be treated with care if you want it to look nice for a long time.
China like this is usually not used everyday so treating it gently and washing by hand may not have to be done very often.

A: The high temperature at which the china was fired after the glaze was put on makes it durable for occasional automatic dish washing. However it is not advisable to put the china in the dishwasher if it has any gold on it.
