If you are like me, you like to find a use for everything, rather than throw it away. At a minimum, you will settle for putting it with the recycling, or donating it, as long as, it does not go to waste.
Well, that said; I must have about a dozen bottles of the skin softening oil, which accompanies every wax hair removal kit, I have ever purchased. One day, I had an item (I truly don't remember exactly what) which had a spot of adhesive residue, (the remains of a pricing, or some such sticker) stuck on it. I tried everything to remove it; soap, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner. I did not want to use nail polish remover, as the item was made of glossy, colored plastic, and I did not want to destroy the finish.
For some reason, I decided to try this oil. Guess what? Within seconds, the adhesive residue was gone. I cleaned the item with soap and water, to remove any remaining oil, and BAM, good as new. So next time you decide to toss something in the trash, try to think of a use for it first, or put it in a designated drawer, and eventually, you may find a legitimate use for it.
