For the first time since 1947, a mated pair of Bald Eagles has nested in the U.S. National Arboretum (Washington, DC). The Eagles, named Mr. President and The First Lady recently hatched 2 eggs in March 2016. They even held a vote to name the babies, who are now known as Freedom and Liberty.
There are two 24-hour cameras (with night vision) installed near the nest, that offer a fun opportunity to see these baby Eagles grow up. If you have a few minutes, go check it out at the link below:
