I found if you have chipped toenails, scratchy corns or rough heels that socks tend to stick to them when pulling it on your foot. One day, I decided to turn my sock inside out and wear it. I was amazed, no more socks sticking to my feet or strings of the sock pulling off and catching on my toes. The socks are smoother on the outside and glides right over your feet.

My daughter has been doing this for years and says socks are more comfortable.
It is also a good practice for people who need seamless socks, such as diabetics. The toe seam doesn't rub on the foot and cause problems.
This is a must for all people . You'll be amazed at how wonderfully better your feet will feel .
I had to wear an ortho boot for six weeks and my foot was so tender that the tube sock hurt-so I turned it inside-out and - yea! I didn't hurt. Great idea.
I have done this for years. I like the smoother side next to my feet. Also if anyone wears cotton socks, turn them inside once in a while to check for lint. Those lint balls can irritate.
been doing it for over 50 years & NEVER knew i had brothers & sisters doing the same, hooray
Haha thank god it's not just me. For anyone wanting to try this, my advice is only do this with new socks, don't try it with older socks or socks that you've had for a while as they would've most likely bobbled by then, and it won't be comfortable. However, when you get new socks you'll be amazed how much more comfortable it is! See, people think I'm weird when I tell them, but why would anyone wear something that's tight with a whopping seam in it? To me it's simply logical
