When you don't have time to lay around on an ice pack, wear it.
An ice pack really feels good to my lower back and it helps to relieve the discomfort I have. I needed to figure out a way I could put an ice pack on my lower back while we played cards. I wanted something to hold it tight to my back. I put my thinking cap on and came up with an idea for a pouch to hold the ice pack.
A pouch with belt loops was easy to make. I used an old shoe string for the belt loops. A large belt holds it tight to my back and the belt loops keep it from slipping down. It works perfectly. Also, I can walk around and get my washing, ironing, cooking and cleaning done while wearing my ice pack.
To mold it so it will fit the curve of my back, I refroze it on a plate.
Excellent idea!
