Does anyone have the original Weight Watchers Cabbage Soup recipe?
Is this the one you are looking for ?
I was never in the WW programs so when anyone says 'original' and I see all of the recipes online it really gets confusing.
Friends have books from the 60's, 80's, 90's but when looking on line there are so many different plans and most of them say 'original' so I'm lost with which plan is really considered "original'.
I just stopped trying to figure it out and chose this one. Maybe it is close.

Is this it? I hope so, I haven't thought about this in years! My friend and I used to make huge pots of this soup and it would be a dinner for a week!!
The really one had tomato juice or V-8 juice you used! Everything in one pot and cooked it all at the same! Im a W.W. From 1969. It was delicious!

Does anyone have the original Weight Watchers soup recipe made with green and yellow beans, as well as the cabbage etc.?
By Raceyladie from St. Catharines, Ontario
This is the current version of that soup, which looks just about like the version I used when I was in Weight Watchers years ago. It has green beans and cabbage, along with a bunch of other vegetables.

I did a look online to see if I could find the "original" and there are a bunch of versions but they all use basically the same ingredients. Earlier soups often have tomato paste, which shouldn't add many calories. I would experiment and see if you can create your own version.
