What Breed Is My Dog?

This is Max. We got him mid October 2014. We were told he was about 9 weeks old, but as you can see he was very little. My husband thinks he was closer to 5 or 6 weeks old. We were told the mom passed after giving birth to a full litter. The previous owner did give us very little information on the puppy and the puppies' parents. I'm just not sure how accurate it was. Max is now around 10 months old (estimated.) He is a very good dog who is full of love and energy. We have kids and he's great with them. He's a cuddle bug. He is great with people, even strangers! He gets so excited and loves jumping on and licking all of us. He's always gotten along with other animals, however lately he's not taking well to "male" dogs. I don't know what's caused the change, maybe dominance, but it's only with "male" dogs. He will forever be a part of our family and is loved like our children, I guess it's just curiosity to know his breed. The pictures I've included are Max a few days after first bringing him home, then one about 4 months later and finally the last one is Max today!
