Okay so about a year ago I bought a dog. I was told it was a Boxer/Bull dog mix, but as time has passed everyone tells me he looks more like a Blue Nose Pit Bull. I'm not sure due to the fact that I didn't see the parents. I rescued him from a previous buyer. The lady had bought the dog from the parents' original owners. Is there a way to tell what breed he is? Will a vet be able to tell? I don't see how the person I bought the dog from would lie since she did see the parents. I will post pictures of my dog and I also found a Bulldog Boxer mix picture online and they look pretty much the same. The image from online has a blue collar. Also different lightings on images of my dog.

You can get DNA kits at some pet stores. You take a swab of the dogs cheek and send it in for analysis. In a couple weeks they will tell you what you dog is. I do see more pitt in your dog than boxer.
He looks rather like a boxer/pit bull mix. He's very handsome and has a beautiful coat. :)
