I adopted Freddy through a shelter and was told he was a Sheepdog/Shetland Sheltie mix, but I don't the similarity. I was wondering if anyone would have an idea about what breed/mix he might be. He is 14 weeks old.

Considering the dog is still a puppy it is harder to tell the breed or mixed breed of your puppy.
- Take the dog to the vet and start his series of vaccinations. He will need them to protect him against the parvovirus and other illnesses.
- While there ask the vet if he has any idea about the breed or mixed breed of your dog.
- The vet can do a DNA test, but this is rather expensive. This is the only way to find out the breed/mixed breed of your dog.
- Purchase a home DNA kit at most local pet shops or online.
- Do the test yourself at home.
