Can anyone tell me what my puppy is? I know for sure his mom is a Pit Bull, the dad was supposed to have been one too. I've seen them both as well as the rest of her pups, they all look similar, mostly black with short hair, like Pit puppies. The puppy I picked, as you can see, looks nothing like the rest of them. He has one blue eye and long black, white, and gray/blue hair. He was given to me. I think he is beautiful regardless. He's very calm and never barks.

Very cute pup. I have no idea what breed he has in him but it is possible for a letter of pups to have several different sires depends how many dogs the bitch mated with. I once had a rescued purebred black Labrador who was pregnant when I got her. She had 9 pups, 2 black labs, 2
golden labs, 2 black & white Border Collies, 2 Australian Blue Cattle and one that looked like it had German Shepherd. They were all taken by friends of mine so I saw them grow up and the Australian Cattle and Border Collies looked like purebred dogs, amazing.
Female dogs can have a litter with two different fathers. The other pups might have been pit bulls, but the one you picked has a Blue Merle Border Collie as a dad.

I'm not an expert at all but her hair does look a little long. But then again their appearance changes so much as the grow. She is ADORABLE! I have a merle pup too. Supposed to be full blooded APBT.
