Is any one able to identify what other breeds are in my dog? Please! I got him at 2 months old and now he is just over 2 years old. When I first got him I was being told he was a Boxer Collie mix, but I didn't think he looked like it so I got his DNA tested at Wisdom Panel and the result came back he is 50% Boxer and 50% mixed. Now my question is what other breeds do you think he's got in him?
The results of the Wisdom panel has a section that shows you a detection threshold of what he might have mixed in him, but all these other dogs they showed look nothing like him. At the top of the list out of 5 they show a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and an Old English Sheepdog as what he possibly might have in him. I mean I don't know what to make of this.
Now regardless of what breed he is I will love him just the same :) But the laws are changing around here and I need to know if he is a Pit Bull? He is build pretty thin and he is pretty tall and now weighs about 75 pounds. I can totally see he's got the body of a Boxer but when you look at him from the front he looks so different from when your looking at him from the sides.
I personally don't think he looks like a Pit Bull but some people are always asking me if he is. I don't know who I can go see to help me with my situation.
I hope I get some great feedback from here and if some one can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

If even a genetic test can't positively identify your dog's breed mix anyone else would just be guessing. I wouldn't worry about any laws. Just say you had him genetically tested, he is half boxer, and the genetic test did not identify any pit bull.
Thank you! For taking the time to answer my question and i agree with what you say. But am still worried, If a genetic test can't positively identify your dog's mixed breeds and if anyone else would just be guessing and with all the people who are in charge don't know anything about them how can anyone positively identify any Pitbull traits in a mixed breed?
Some places say that Pitbull is not an actual breed of dog and It refers to a set of looks, traits, and characteristics and some say most Boxer mixes all fall under the Pitbull category witch is insane.
Some say Basically all dogs that are with a blocky head, muscular build, short fur, and a short, square snout is classified as a Pitbull witch is totally discriminatory on the behalf of all dog breeds.
Genetic testing is not liable, People Guessing is no liable so what are they relying on? What is officially considered blocky? What is officially considered muscular build? What is officially considered short fur? What is officially considered square snout? This model is totally flawed and makes no sense.
You're right. The model makes no sense. It's up to individual interpretation and dumb.
