There are dog DNA testing services, however they are not always accurate. Our friends were told their dog was a French Bichon and it didn't look a thing like one!
A much less expensive solution is to ask your local vet. Ours was able to identify our pup (someone dumped him at our rural home). They can usually pick out the primary characteristics of 2-3 breeds comprising a mixed breed.
The.y do seem to me to be very like beagles, small, floppy dark ears and a charming friendly disposition.
If a vet can't help you, try the ASPCA. They deal with all kinds of breeds.
