Well he certainly look like a Chihuahua to me but they can have some mix that only shows up later.
DNA test run between 60 -100 dollars and info can be acquired through on-line Pet DNA testing, Dog Whisperer, Petsmart (not all stores) and vets.

definitely looks like a lot of chihuahua in that pup!! In particular the shape and size of the head, realtive to the rest of him, as well as the small size and short hair
