I've had Oreo for going on 8 years now. However, we've never been able to identify her breed. She's incredibly lovable and loves to run and play. She's especially active for her age (although she takes plenty of naps to make up for all her running!). We're pretty sure she's a Jack Russell, but we're not sure what she's mixed with. Thanks in advance!

The only way to tell what breed(s) a dog has is to have the vet perform a DNA test.
Cute name - A DNA test is the only way to know for sure but they can be expensive. You can get an on-line DNA test kit for around $60 dollars but you can check some pet supply stores (like Petsmart) as they sometimes have these kits available. Your vet will probably charge $100 or more for one of these tests.
He looks like a Jack Russell/Shepard/? mix.
