I adopted this pup from the shelter around a month ago. The shelter did not know what breed he is, and it would be nice to know more about his personality type and other things. What do y'all think? He is 5 months at the moment (in the pictures shown).

I definitely see Maltese in him with the high ears, eye shape and perky snout:
The curly fur may be poodle, but I lean more toward Bichon Frise:
Both breeds have amazing little personalities and can be loyal and are very entertaining. They can also be sensitive to noise and bark a lot. You can do some positive reinforcement training to reduce the barking (sometimes). For years I babysat a pair of Maltese (brother and sister) and the were high energy and just did the funniest things! My nephew dog is half Bischon and he is very loyal and cuddly.
Your vet can look at his bone structure, teeth, jaws, hip lines etc. to give you an official guestimate! They are usually experts in this...but I know with some breeds the lines blur.
