My dog Paisley was adopted from a kill shelter in Texas and they said she was a Chihuahua mix. But we have yet to figure out what she's mixed with. She has a curly tail and rose ears. Please let me know what you think.

So sweet! Love her name She looks like Chihuahua more than anything. Maybe a drop of Corgi or Basenji in the ears! Does your vet have a guess. They look at teeth, jaw, bone structure, etc to compare to breed standards.

Let me know what the vet says! Ours is good! We had friends who did the DNA test and it was disappointing as most came back uncertain. I just love them all no matter what the mix! It makes them unique!!

My family has had 12 Chihuahuas over the past many years and still have 3 (my son's dogs) so we love them all - pure bred or mix they are very lovable dogs. I know you will be best pals for many years.
I see that she has her "dress" on and they seem to be so happy about being dressed up! My son's pups have a bigger wardrobe than me!
