I want to ask which breed my dog belongs to? Actually I bought him from an unknown breeder. And not having pedigree papers he sold it to me saying it is a GSD, but after 3 months I doubt if it is or not. He doesn't seem like a GSD. He is skinny and doesn't have much long hair and even doesn't seem to be muscular. I am posting pics of him at the age of 6 months.

Although your dog doesn't appear to be a pedigreed German Shepherd, it's appearance indicates it does have German Shepherd in its background. A DNA test could tell you what other breeds are included in your dog. A vet can probably give you some general information regarding what breeds they think make up your dog.
He looks like a German Shepherd to me
Sweet pupster! Enjoy him!
Your vet can check his teeth, bone structure, etc. and let you know if he meets breed standards. At face value, he looks like most handsome Shepherds I know!
If you are concerned about his weight and fur, talk to the vet for feedback and next steps. He could have a n underlying health issue or food allergies.
My friends who have used the DNA kits were disappointed because the percentage of unknown and inconclusive breed was too high.
I say just love him for him :). Thanks for sharing his pix!!
The dog differently has Shepard in him for sure. I had a Shepard/Roti mixed and when she was young she was also very skinny. Once she reached 18 months old is when she started to fill out and was an extremely big dog.
Your dog really looks like a German Shepherd, has all the characteristics, the coloring, ears, paws, tail and build. Don't worry about him looking skinny, he will fill out in time, especially in the chest, and unless it was sold as a long haired German Shepherd then you will find his coat will be short and smooth.
Long haired GSDs are not common. The great majority are short haired. Looks like a GSD to me.
