I got this dog from a rescue center and we had no background information. Can anyone help me with this? She is a very territorial dog, no one can be in the backyard near her, or she will bark your ears off, and growl, and be very hard to control? Any answers? But she is very awesome to us, and loves kisses.

Her face in the first picture looks like it has some Dachshund in it.
Very sweet face! Look like a mix that has a good bit of smooth schipperke. I have a cousin dog who's full breed and you are describing his cute, but wonky temprement.
There may be a tad bit of hound in there with the long snout!
Your vet can look at teeth, bone structure etc and give you his/her take.
There are DNA tests but my friends who have done then we're all disappointed how much came back unknown or unspecified.
