Someone gave me this puppy and they told me he was a Chihuahua. I have seen a picture of the mother and she's a Chihuahua. But now I'm wondering.

She is cute and I dont think she is a chihuahua either. You could do a DNA test to tell the full bloodline
I think your puppy may be a chihuahua/terrier mix. The texture of his hair looks more like a terrier than a chihuahua. He's incredibly cute regardless of what breeds are in his DNA.

I see more terrier and even a little wire hair daschshund and schnauzer in him.
Your vet can look at the teeth, jaw, hips and bones and give you more info!
